Lee Wilcock, Principal

Lee is a distance and e-learning specialist with over twenty years' experience of designing and developing flexible learning programmes, and helping organisations to implement them effectively. He has worked with a wide range of blue chip clients from both the public and private sector, and has provided learning consultancy support to organisations as diverse as the University of the West Indies and the Chartered Institute of Management. Now, as Principal of Wolsey Hall, he brings this experience to bear to ensure that Wolsey Hall students get the best possible learning experience.

In his spare time Lee can often be found walking the fells of the Lake District - his favourite place in the world - or challenging all comers to a game of table tennis.

Peter Newell, Director of Operations

Peter took his law degree from the University of Oxford, qualified as a Barrister and then took an MBA at Columbia University in New York.  He pioneered the launch of the world's first distance learning MBA in conjunction with the University of Warwick Business School and helped to develop Wolsey Hall as a major provider of management development courses to organisations such as British Airways, Her Majesty's Prison Service, Lloyds TSB and Shell Exploration and Production.

Last year he and three Oxford friends cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats, about 920 miles, something he feels everyone should do at least once in their life.  His family thought he was 'nuts', but they were happy to indulge him!

Michelle Mahoney, Student Services Manager

Michelle has a background in graphic design and database management and holds a post-graduate diploma in Dyslexia from the University of York. Michelle's role is to ensure that all the services we provide to our students run smoothly and that we  delight our customers.

Michelle is learning to play chess and the guitar - but not simultaneously!

 Patricia deLarios, Development Manager

Patty has degrees in Journalism and Law, served five years as a judge in Texas and has completed many hours of post graduate work in creative writing. Patty is a published author and brings her considerable communication skills, experience and enthusiasm for e-learning to our team.

For fun, Patty dabbles in oil painting and clay sculpture but her favorite pastime is hiking in wilderness areas. Her last hike was through the Pecos Wilderness in New Mexico. She’s also camped alone in the Arizona desert and canoed down the Zambezi River through Zimbabwe into Mozambique.

Catherine Mullineux, Finance Manager

Catherine is a native of Aberdeen, but fled those cold northern parts for Oxford in 1983.  She has a BA in Political Theory and an MA in Political Philosophy.  She is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants and has been a practising accountant for 35 years.

Catherine and her husband are currently transforming an ancient coach into a mobile home in which they plan to tour the country.
